Langley was a Christian of the Primitive Baptist faith. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a retired automotive mechanic with 30+ years of experience. Langley was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed going fishing, working in his garden, spending hours at a flea market and watching TV.

He was known as Billy Bob by many, but his greatest name was Daddy and Pap. His grandkids were the light of his life and spending time with them was so special to him. Kevin R. Stallard; brothers Joe Ed Stallard, Jack L. Stallard and Kenneth L. Stallard; and his long time friend Oscar Rhoten. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson and Dollie Gardner. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a medic. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 243 in Norton, VA. He loved his God, his family and his country.

He helped friends and neighbors build their homes, and even footed the bill on their supplies sometimes. He was a proud Army Veteran and served in World War II. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Euna Justice; her son Billy McClenny; her sister Emma Jean Martin; her brothers Carl Edward Justice and James Conley Justice; and a son-in-law Jeff Gore. Omi Sturgill, Abe Sturgill and Ezra Sturgill; and host of friends and loved ones.

He graduated from Wayne High School and the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Gary taught Vocational Agriculture and FFA for 11 years in Verdigre. He served as a bean merchant for Cargill and sold breeding stock hogs for Cornhusker Farms in Shickley.

Palmer enjoyed watching westerns, especially The Lone Ranger. He also liked sitting on the porch and keeping an eye on the neighborhood. He especially loved the time he spent with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. The most important thing to him was the well-being of his entire family. He was always there with a giving heart making sure everyone's needs were met, expecting nothing in return. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, camping, and golfing.

He loved life and was very active….gardening, cooking, traveling,... Billy Ray “Bill” Walton, of Russell Springs, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at his home. Bill was born in Oakland, Mississippi, April 21, 1937, son of the late Ezra Harris and Effie Cook Walton. Bill was a founding member of the Russell County Rescue Squad, serving Russell County for forty-two years, and was the first Emergency Medical Technician in Russell County. Then-US President Richard Nixon can be heard discussing the show (specifically the 1971 episodes "Writing the President" and "Judging Books by Covers") on one of the infamous Watergate tapes. Popular T-shirts, buttons, and bumper stickers showing O'Connor's image and farcically promoting "Archie Bunker for President" appeared around the time of the 1972 presidential election.

The two couples represent the real-life clash of values between the Greatest Generation and Baby Boomers.

Palmer was born on December 12, 1933 in Rose Hill VA to his parents the late Roy C. Palmer was a devoted Christian and attended Hope Freewill Baptist Church. He was a loyal husband for nearly 71 years and a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and son.

Neva was born in 1920, on the 4th of July, daughter of the late Walter G. Her husband, Buel, was a linotype operator for newspapers. She and her young family traveled for work in Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.
